The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and may close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home using a combined gross household earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined household profits will not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need my nsfas not submit any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the nsfas login missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the proper Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.

All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
